Boycott Pop Singer Dua Lipa?

I am not a big fan of cultural boycotts, and instead, support an outreach to Ms. Lipa educating her on the subject. However, there is an ethical distinction between boycotting an artist because you do not like his or her politics (which is the case here) versus boycotting an artist because you do not like his or her country’s politics (which is the case in the BDS campaign against Israel).
